Jamaican-born Colin Channer is the author of several books and anthologies. His works include Passing Through, Waiting in Vain and Satisfy my Soul, to name a few. Colin writes with a Caribbean perspective, a cool sensuality and an un-rushed style, making his novels something you’ll savor long after you’ve reached the end.

His second novel of short stories entitled Passing Through is a treasure of connected stories set in the islands. You can hear the patois, feel the warm sun and experience all the hardships, love, passion, hopes and dreams of his characters. If you want to get cozy with a smooth and knowledgeable author, Colin Channer is your man.

Colin is also a teaching professor and helped to launch the Calabash International Literary Festival, which is a yearly event for poets and writers. This year’s event will be in May 2014, in Treasure Beach, Jamaica.
