This repost from the Huffington Post is a sobering reminder that not everyone will think your writing is the greatest. Many might not even think it is very good. But that is okay, not everything is for everyone.
This infograph not only shows writers who hated their contemporaries’ work, but it also gives quotes of what these writers thought of each other. None are flattering, and some are downright mean. In any case, it shouldn’t discourage you from writing what you want to write. Just keep in mind it won’t be well received everywhere. Hey, these writers are all considered great in their own right, so take it all with a grain of salt.
