By: Ebonye Gussine Wilkins

In case you missed it, August Rose Press was present at the 2014 Brooklyn Book Festival.

It was on September 21, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Just as the festival began, one of our volunteers found Waldo.

Where’s Waldo? Here he is!

Of course, Somewhat Close To Normal was there, as the Brooklyn Book Festival was part of the NYC Tour, but the next novel Bobbing and Weaving got a lot of love too.

We decided to ask everyone who stopped by our booth one question:
What does natural hair mean to you?

The response was overwhelming! We had non-stop traffic to our booth for eight solid hours.
